Webinar:The Future of Toys and the Industry

The Toy Association will host a webinar June 7 at 2 p.m. (Eastern) to address the changes and challenges facing toy companies, including a rapidly shifting retail ecosystem, technological and cultural shifts, and an evolving toy consumer. The upcoming webinar complements new research made available to Toy Association members on the future of the toy industry.

The 45-minute session, “Innovation and the Toy Industry: Consumer Shifts and Retail Challenges,” will help toy companies plan for the future by addressing the following topics:

●  The definition of the future toy consumer, including new uses and users of toys, and new spaces for play;
●  New knowledge and capabilities toy companies will need to be successful in a changing ecosystem;
●  Emerging business models that may influence toy companies; and
●  A vision of the retail experience of the future.

SPEAKERS:
The webinar will be presented by Ted Curtin, executive vice president of marketing & innovation at ProdigyWorks, a unique high-IQ innovation think tank that grew out of a partnership with Mensa, and Ken Seiter, The Toy Association’s executive vice president of marketing communications.

PRICE:
The session is free for Toy Association members; non-members must pay $49 to participate. It is specifically recommended for toy company executives and staff responsible for strategy and innovation planning and those responsible for advertising and marketing strategies.
