James D. Rosener, President

Mr. Rosener is the president of the European American Chamber of Commerce New York. He also is a director of the Chambre de Commerce Franco-Americain, the Institute of French Culture at the University of Pennsylvania and a member of the board the European-American Chamber of Commerce Paris Chapter.

James D. Rosener is a partner in the Commercial Department of Pepper Hamilton LLP a founding member of the EACC in New York. He heads the firm’s International Practice Group, is managing partner of the New York office and has served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. His practice is devoted primarily to international transactions, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing.

Mr. Rosener holds a B.S. from Lehigh University, an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University at Madison and a J.D. degree Delaware Law School (since been renamed Widener University School of Law). He is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He has published numerous articles and lectures around the world frequently on legal issues relating to transatlantic business.

Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild, Executive Director

Yvonne joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter as its Executive Director in October 2010. During her career she has worked and consulted for a number of non-profits and for-profits where she significantly contributed to their growth by raising their public profiles, geographic foot print and relevance within their respective industries. In her roles she has worked with clients and partners across the US, in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

While she grew up in Germany, she sees herself as a European and is dedicated to the idea that Europe needs to think, act and be regarded as one entity. In her role at the EACC she focuses on furthering an active transatlantic discourse and to engage the business communities on both sides in a meaningful dialog and exchange of ideas.

Yvonne works closely with the EACC board and colleagues in the other EACC chapters on a variety of initiatives to keep the organization dynamic, relevant and forward-looking.

Her priority is to create value for its membership and help grow the organization and its influence on both sides of the Atlantic. To that extend she is spearheading EACC’s international expansion strategy and is working with partners across the U.S. and Europe to identify & develop suitable locations and collaborators to expand the EACC chapter network

Memberships & Affiliations:
Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a member of the United Nations Business Sector Steering Committee on Financing for Development. She is a fellow at the Tribeca Disruptor Foundation and a member of the Corporate Advisory Committee at International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) and a member of the Economic Club of New York.

Mrs. Bendinger-Rothschild is a graduate of the University of Applied Science in Ludwigshafen, Germany where she earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Controlling/Finance. She is fluent in German and English with basic skills in Spanish and French.

Andrew Chrismer, Marketing Associate

Andrew Chrismer joined the EACCNY team in March of 2017, bringing with him nearly ten years of Trans-Atlantic business and economic experience from a number of organizations. Andrew oversees EACCNY’s programs and external relations, including public and member related events, workshops, and member engagement activities.

Prior to joining EACCNY, Andrew worked on transatlantic economic policy issues in Washington, DC, first at the Atlantic Council and later at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. He has spent his academic and professional career strengthening economic and business development policies throughout the United States and Europe at local, state, national, and supra-national levels. He has worked on a wide range of topics from financial and regulatory frameworks to innovation and entrepreneurship policies.

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree from Otterbein University in Economics and International Business, and completed his master’s degree at American University’s School of International Service, where he studied the global political economy and European studies. He speaks English and German, with limited skills in French.

Daniel Pecina-Lopez, Membership Associate

Daniel Pecina-Lopez joined the European American Chamber of Commerce New York Chapter (EACCNY) as its Membership Associate in September 2017.

Daniel´s work focuses on member engagement and member development. He ensures that the EACCNY lives up to its mission of stimulating transatlantic trade and business development facilitating networking and relationships between European and American businesses and professional organizations.

Prior joining the EACCNY, Daniel worked for more than five years facilitating trade, investments, tourism and cooperation in regional, national and multilateral agencies in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Some of his most relevant duty stations include the Economic Development Agency of La Rioja, the Spanish Trade Commission in Hong Kong and Macau, the Spanish Tourism Commission in Mexico and Central America, the Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Spain and Portugal, and the UNFPA´s South-South and Triangular Cooperation Division.

Daniel is a graduate from Columbia University´s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) where he earned a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Political Development. His high interest in European Union policies and transatlantic relations led him to found CEUSA, Columbia University European Union Student Association. He is fluent in Spanish and English with intermediate skills in Portuguese.
